MIDFIELDER Jordie McKenzie and versatile small Neville Jetta have been rushed back into the side for Saturday’s clash against St Kilda at the MCG.

The duo missed last Sunday’s win over Gold Coast, with McKenzie a late withdrawal due to a knee injury, and Jetta sidelined due to a one match suspension.

As expected, the Demons have lost utility Cale Morton for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, suffered during the second quarter against the Suns.

Morton successfully underwent shoulder surgery on Wednesday.

Ball winner Jordan Gysberts, who returned for his first match of the season last round, has been left out and is now an emergency.

Rookie Michael Evans and midfielder/forward Matthew Bate are the other emergencies.

Evans is in the 25-man squad for the first time this year, after missing the first 15 rounds with a back injury. He was elevated to the primary list on Thursday for key forward Mitch Clark, who has been placed on the long-term injury list.

Bate has played 11 matches this season, but hasn’t played since round 16.

Meanwhile, the soon to be retired Brad Green will equal Brian Dixon on 252 matches for the club this round. Green will move into equal sixth place on Melbourne’s games record.

And co-captain Jack Grimes will reach a personal milestone this round when he plays his 50th AFL match.
