ROOKIE Michael Evans has been elevated to the senior list with key forward Mitch Clark placed on the long-term injury list.

The Demons made the elevation on Thursday.

Evans has been named an emergency for Saturday’s clash against St Kilda at the MCG.

The Western Australian was sidelined for the first 15 rounds with a back injury, before he made his comeback for Casey against Bendigo at Windy Hill on July 14.

He has now played three matches in the VFL since his long lay-off through injury.

Evans made his AFL debut in 2011, playing four matches after he was selected at No.31 in the NAB AFL Rookie Draft in December 2010. He was drafted from Claremont.
