MELBOURNE has included three players in its 25-man squad for Sunday’s clash against Adelaide Crows at the MCG.

The Demons have brought in midfielder Matthew Bate, ball-winner Jordan Gysberts and the pacy Daniel Nicholson.

The trio has been named on the interchange with defender James Strauss, versatile tall James Sellar, hard-nut Luke Tapscott and rookie Tom Couch.

The Demons have yet to omit anyone of the side, with the 22 to be finalised on Friday afternoon.

Bate has played 12 matches this season, with his most recent appearance against St Kilda in round 20.

Gysberts has featured just once this season - Melbourne’s win over Gold Coast Suns in round 19 - after he missed eight of the opening 10 rounds (four with an ankle problem and four with a broken jaw).

Nicholson has been sidelined for the past three rounds with a jaw injury, after playing nine matches in a row.

It will be a big day for the Demons, as club great Brad Green plays his last match - his 254th - and defender James Frawley reaches the ton.
