WHEN looking for examples of courage and strength, senior coach Mark Neeld and players Colin Sylvia and James Frawley need look no further than the Royal Children's Hospital.

Neeld, Sylvia and Frawley spent Good Friday getting to know patients and their families and giving out Demons merchandise at the Royal Children's Hospital.

Sylvia is a regular visitor to the Royal Children's Hospital but noted that there was something special about Good Friday at the hospital.

Sylvia said, “It's a great day to be a part of and give something back to the kids and the community. I feel privileged to be a part of it.”

“It was a really moving visit and definitely puts things in to perspective. These kids are so strong and it seems crazy for us to complain about things and then to see what these kids and their families deal with... it's just extraordinary. It's phenomenal what the hospital is able to do for the kids and the families. Every cent from the Good Friday Appeal is absolutely being put to great use.”
