THE 2020 AFLW season is nearly here.
Melbourne will take on North Melbourne in a season opener at Casey Fields on Saturday February 8 at 3.10pm.
As always, entry is free with gates opening at 2.00pm.
There’s plenty to be excited about on and off the field, so get along to Casey Fields for a jam-packed day of free activities for the entire family!
What’s on:
- Visit the Hertz Family Fun Zone: Packed with kids’ activities, variety of sporting challenges, inflatables, face painting, giveaways plus a visit from players and Daisy the Mascot.
- Head to the Zurich inflatable to get your free pair of sunglasses and sunscreen
- Look out for the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation station which has free face painting and AFLW posters
- Mums and Kids clinic + Guard of Honour Experience: All mums and kids are welcome to join in the free pre-game clinic at Casey Fields hosted by AFLW players. For more information and to register, click here.
- Deck yourself out in red and blue by shopping the latest range from the Demon Shop stall + pick up a free team poster
- Become a Demon by signing up as a member at the Membership Marquee
- Tackle the AFL Inflatable Activity Wall
- Try out your football skills on the Melbourne Demons handball target
- Visit the City of Casey Playgroup Pop-Up Van
- Meet our club mascots, Daisy Demon and Checker, as well as T.W. Sherrin
- Bring your footy and enjoy a kick on the ground thanks to Maccas Kick to Kick
- Keep your energy up by stocking up on food and drink at the canteen
