MELBOURNE will play Essendon and North Melbourne in two practice matches this pre-season at Casey Fields and Arden Street Oval respectively.
Both matches will be free to attend for all supporters.
The first match will see Melbourne host the Bombers at Casey Fields on Friday, 21 February at 2.00pm (AEDT).
The Demons will draw on players not selected in the following day's Marsh Community Series match against Adelaide, which will also be played at Casey Fields.
A week later, Melbourne will travel to Arden Street Oval for a hit-out against North Melbourne on Friday, 28 February at 1.10pm (AEDT).
The match will be played during an off-weekend in Melbourne's Marsh Community Series fixture, before they travel to Launceston to play Hawthorn on Friday, 6 March.
With the AFLW and State of Origin Bushfire Relief double-header scheduled for later that night, players selected for Victoria or the All Stars will not take part in the practice match at Arden Street (a maximum of three players can be selected per club).
