A STRONG crowd welcomed Melbourne players to the City of Casey when they returned to the area for training on Thursday 9 July.

With the session coinciding with school holidays, around 230 local junior supporters were on hand to watch their favourite players.

The day also featured a Deezone community roadshow, with activities and giveaways at the ground for children to enjoy.

Supporters were able to get autographs and take photos with the players at the end of training.

Throughout the year, Melbourne conducts training sessions at Casey Fields, home of VFL affiliate side Casey Scorpions, as part of the club’s partnership with the City of Casey.
