Jack Viney’s courageous efforts secured an equal-high of nine AFLCA votes, being recognised for his stellar effort in a wet Alice Springs.
Lachie Hunter and Christian Petracca both took home a pair of votes each with Jake Bowey also claiming a singular vote.
Viney finished a ferocious game with a career-high 41 disposals, 24 contested possessions, seven tackles, seven clearances, 10 inside 50s and 602 metres gained to take home a well-earned nine votes.
Winger Lachie Hunter was next to be recognised by the coaches, taking home two votes.
Hunter finished the day with 30 disposals, 21 of them being kicks, seven inside 50s and 11 intercept possessions whilst playing 91% game time, a solid performance in the wet.
Christian Petracca continued his run of polling votes by also claiming two votes, solidifying his spot at third on the total leaderboard.
Petracca ended with 34 disposals, seven score involvements, thirteen contested possessions and 685 metres gained.
Jake Bowey finalised the voting taking home a vote, the backman slotted himself a crucial goal, 19 disposals, 14 intercept possessions, 12 contested possessions and four score involvements.
The Demons take on St Kilda on Saturday night at Marvel, in what is set to be a crucial game for both sides.
