MELBOURNE’S maiden AFLW premiership cup will make its way to the City of Casey, giving locals the opportunity to celebrate the Demons’ history-making win.

Members and supporters are invited to Bunjil Place on Monday 19 December, where the prized silverware will be on display from 4pm.

Those in attendance will be able to take photographs with the premiership cup – the Demons’ first of the AFLW competition after they defeated the Brisbane Lions in Springfield late last month.

With Melbourne playing its home games at Casey Fields, it will be an opportunity for the local community to further showcase its support of the club’s AFLW program.

The free event is a collaboration between Melbourne and the City of Casey, whose 30-year partnership aims to promote and engage the local community in sport, while providing unique opportunities for residents.

There are no bookings required to attend.
