THE AFL has confirmed this morning that Melbourne will head to South Australia next season as part of the league's first ‘Gather Round’.

The 'Gather Round' will see the Demons face the Bombers on Saturday 15 April at Adelaide Oval in a league-first initiative that will see all nine matches be played in South Australia.

The match will take place during Round 5 of the 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, the nine games scheduled across four days, running from Thursday 13 April through to Sunday 16 April, all games coinciding with school holidays.

In exciting news for footy fans, Melbourne access members have the opportunity to redeem one free ticket to the match in South Australia.

This is an additional benefit to the 2023 membership package, and does not impact existing entitlements for next season.

Tickets go on-sale Monday 12 December via Ticketek. AFL and Melbourne access members will be a part of a priority redemption period from 12:30pm – 4:30pm (AEDT), before tickets go on sale to the general public at 5:30pm (AEDT).

To redeem the free ticket, members will receive an email with an individual 12-character voucher code, with membership barcodes NOT able to unlock this additional benefit.

With high demand expected, members are asked to only redeem tickets if they plan to attend out of fairness to other members.

This voucher code can alternatively be used to redeem a discounted Adelaide Oval multi-day pass to watch our match and others at the venue across the round. The member discounted price accounts for the free ticket to watch us play.
