McAdam arrived at the Demons from Adelaide with 50 senior games and 72 goals to his name ahead of the 2024 season. The high-flying 186cm forward battled with a number of soft issue injuries throughout his first season at Melbourne, managing three AFL games. In 11 outings at State League level, the dynamic Demon dazzled with a host of high-flying marks and 21 majors. McAdam was first selected by Carlton as a mature-aged pre-draft access selection before joining Adelaide in 2018 and making his senior debut in 2020.
