The AFL has confirmed that Melbourne will now face West Coast on Monday 9 August at Optus Stadium.
The match was originally scheduled for Saturday 7 August, but will now take place on Monday night to allow for the Demons to travel to Perth and serve their seven-day quarantine period before the game, as approved by the Western Australian Government.
The game will be broadcast via the Seven Network with the first bounce scheduled for 8:10pm AEST (6:10pm local).
