Casey will be out to spoil Footscray’s so far perfect season, hoping to hand it its first loss on Saturday at Casey Fields.

The two sit second and third on the ladder and while the result won’t trouble the Dogs’ top-two position, a loss for the Demons could see them fall back into the pack, fighting to remain in the top four.

Casey will go into this game with a few changes to the side that dismantled Werribee by 59-points earlier this month.

Jake Bowey will make his AFL debut against the Gold Coast Suns this weekend, and with several other Melbourne-listed players out of action, it opens the door for some Casey talent to have an impact.

Jack Hutchins, Corey Stockdale, Jack Bell, Tom Freeman, Ryan Sparks and Jaxon Briggs will all be looking to make their mark on the side.

They’ll be alongside Melbourne stalwart Nathan Jones and youngster Bailey Laurie in returning from injury, with Deakyn Smith also back in the side.

Considered the match of the round, there will be plenty to take from this game for the Demons.
