5 - Goals each were kicked by Brad Green and Liam Jurrah. This was the fourth time in Green’s career he booted five goals in a match and the third time in 2010. The other three times came against St Kilda (round 22, 2002), Essendon (round 15, 2010) and Sydney Swans (round 17, 2010). Five goals from Jurrah was a career-best. It was also the sixth time in 17 matches Jurrah has kicked four goals or more.
8 - Consecutive matches have now been lost by Melbourne against North Melbourne. The red and blue’s most recent win against the Kangaroos came in round nine, 2004 at the MCG.
10 - Times in 2010 Mark Jamar smashed 30 or more hit outs in a match. Against North Melbourne, Jamar won 35 hit outs, on the back of 37 in round 21. He finished with 643 hit outs in 2010, easily surpassing his previous best of 261 in 2008.
11 - Inside 50s were produced by Colin Sylvia - a match-high. Lynden Dunn also had 10 inside 50s against North Melbourne.
11 - Game-high marks - nine uncontested and two contested - were taken by Brad Green. This also included four leading marks. Overall, Melbourne had 22 contested marks to North Melbourne’s 13.
