MELBOURNE will receive a boost in Round 13, with Ed Langdon expected to return for the Queen’s Birthday clash with Collingwood.
The wingman missed last week’s win with concussion, but come Monday, his 12-day mandatory break will be served.
The Demons will have to wait until after the bye to see the return of vice-captain Jack Viney, who hasn’t played since Round 6 due to a toe injury.
But the club is confident, with the extra week’s rest, Viney will be putting his hand up to face the Bombers.
Joel Smith, Deakyn Smith and Bailey Laurie are also expected to be fit following Melbourne’s Round 14 bye.
