INS/OUTS – No change
Melbourne will go into its Saturday’s Preliminary Final against Adelaide with an unchanged line-up.
The Dees, who progressed through to the final four with a win over the Dockers last weekend, have opted to name the same 21 for the do-or-die clash at Adelaide Oval, meaning a key player will again miss.
Despite making ground over the past week, captain Daisy Pearce is continuing to work through her rehab from a knee injury – she sustained MCL damage to her right knee in Round 9 – and will remain on the sidelines for the second week of the AFL Women’s Finals Series.
The skipper will still play a major role on game day for her team, having travelled to Adelaide.
Niamh McEvoy and Megan Fitzsimon will be Melbourne’s two emergencies.
The Demons will go into the clash with plenty of momentum after recording their fifth consecutive win last weekend. The Crows, on the other hand, will be coming off a week break, as a result of securing the Minor Premiership for season 2021.
The winner will advance to the Grand Final, where it will take on either Brisbane or Collingwood for a shot at the ultimate prize.
Tickets are still available through Ticketek for the match, with fans reminded that all attendees must secure a ticket before arriving.
The game will be shown live on Channel 7 (depending on location) and Fox Footy, as well as being streamed via the womens.afl, the AFLW app and Kayo.
