MELBOURNE AFLW members will receive free access to home games this AFL Women’s season, following the introduction of ticketed matches.
As announced last month, all members and supporters will need to secure themselves a ticket to attend throughout the upcoming season, with entitlements differing for each game.
For all of the Dees’ home clashes at Casey Fields, AFLW members will have access to a complimentary ticket, which they will need to redeem online via Ticketmaster.
The first opportunity to do so will be Melbourne’s Round 2 clash with Richmond, where tickets will be made available to members in a priority access window from 9am AEDT on Monday 1 February.
Remaining tickets will then be made available for non-members to purchase from 11am AEDT.
All away matches will also require a pre-purchased ticket to attend.
With this Saturday’s season-opener against Gold Coast being an away game, members must obtain a ticket for $10 through Ticketek. Ticket sales open at 10am AEDT on Monday 25 January.
Members and supporters should note that there are no gate sales or redemption at the gate – all tickets must be secured online and will only be available for mobile delivery.
Children under the age of 18 will continue to have access to games for free, but a ticket will need to be redeemed online in order to gain entry.
Capacity is limited in each venue, so fans are encouraged to get online early for the best chance of securing a ticket.
More information around Melbourne’s home games at Casey Fields will be communicated to members via email in due course.
