CASEY suffered its first loss of the season, when Bendigo smashed the Scorpions by 71 points at Casey Fields on Sunday.

Brad Green, playing his first match for the Scorpions, booted two goals.

Rookie Tom Couch continued his impressive start to the VFL season to be Casey’s best player.

Daniel Nicholson, Ricky Petterd and Troy Davis were among the best Melbourne-listed performers. Davis booted two goals.
