Lever to the Dees no certainty?
It's been seen as almost certain that young Adelaide defender Jake Lever will move to Melbourne, but The Advertiser says that is no certainty.
Collingwood is poised to be a "spoiler" in the race for the star backman.
Adelaide wants two first-round selections for the 21-year-old and the Magpies might be prepared to offer that up earlier than the Demons do.
Lever, who made the Virgin Australia All Australian squad of 40 this season, has admitted family ties in Victoria is a lure for him to return home.
Sydney interest in Melbourne forward
Out-of-favour Demon Jack Watts could be on the way to the Swans, according to NAB AFL Trade Radio.
Watts has another two years to run on his deal but Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin "encouraged" the No.1 selection from 2008 to explore his options.
A move to Sydney would likely see tall Kurt Tippett leave, with a number of clubs showing interest in the 30-year-old.
Tippett, who is contracted until the end of 2020, struggled with an ankle injury this season and didn't take part in the Swans' finals campaign.
Cat likely to move interstate
Adelaide and West Coast are making a run at restricted free agent Steven Motlop, according to The Advertiser.
Motlop, who had a stellar finals campaign and is being pursued by Port Adelaide, is expected to be let go by Geelong, with the Cats' eyes set on favourite son Gary Ablett and Western Bulldogs premiership forward Jake Stringer.
Meanwhile, big-bodied midfielder Brendon Ah Chee could be on the move, potentially joining Jarman Impey as departures from the Power. Hawthorn and the Dogs are among the clubs keen on the talented Impey.
Ah Chee is out of contract while Impey has another year to run on his deal.
The Crows want to trade for classy Carlton onballer Bryce Gibbs, who has another two years to run on his contract. However, the Blues want more than "market value".
Movement at the Tigers
Reece Conca and Anthony Miles are both likely to be wearing different colours next season, The Australian says.
Conca, who was drafted at No.6 in 2010 and is signed up until the end of next year, is from Western Australia and could request a trade to his home state.
Fremantle looms as the most likely option for the 25-year-old who didn't line up in the senior side after playing in the opening six games of the season.
Meanwhile, Miles is expected to seek more opportunities elsewhere, after managing just five matches this year.
Small forward Jason Castagna is expected to be offered a two-year deal, while tough nut Jacob Townsend will have at least another season put on the table by the Tigers.
From the minor premiers to the wooden spooners
The Brisbane Lions expect exciting Adelaide forward Charlie Cameron to ask for a move to their club next week, according to The Courier Mail.
It is thought the 23-year-old wants to be closer to family, although the Lions believe Adelaide having lost to Richmond in the decider might make it harder for a deal to be done.
Cameron is contracted with the Crows until the end of 2018.
The Lions will start scouting Charlie Cameron's younger brother, Jarrod, who plays for Western Australia.
