THE MELBOURNE Football Club and YWCA Victoria are set to launch one of their most significant community programs to date, and supporters will have the opportunity to attend a launch event at the MCG.
The Dare to Dream program aims to engage females in education in a positive way, so that they continue with their schooling. The program will specifically target girls in the City of Casey, the second home of the Melbourne Football Club.
Through inspirational speakers and interactive activities, the program will aim to build participants self esteem and instil in them an ‘anything is possible’ attitude.
The eight week program will be facilitated by Westside Circus trainers, who will empower the year eight and ten students through both physical and educational activities.
The Dare to Dream Program Launch will be held on 6 September 2011 to raise funds to support this important community program.
