THE MELBOURNE Football Club wishes to provide the following update regarding President Jim Stynes.
Jim is currently in hospital and is recovering well following the treatment he has received over the past two days.
Jim has surgery scheduled to remove a tumour in his stomach next Wednesday.
Doctors expect Jim to have a two to three week recovery period following the operation.
