MELBOURNE will hold its annual general meeting at the MCG on Wednesday night, starting at 6.30pm.
President Glen Bartlett, chief executive Peter Jackson and coach Paul Roos will provide club updates at the AGM.
As announced in December, there will be no election required at the AGM, as there are three board vacancies and three candidates.
In accordance with rule 3.4(g) of the club's constitution, those candidates are deemed to be elected to the club's board and will hold office from the close of the annual general meeting.
The AGM will see one new face added to the board. Mohan Jesudason nominated for the board during the nomination period.
In addition, David Thurin will retire at the annual general meeting and has offered himself for re-election.
As permitted by rule 3.3 of the club's constitution, Steven Morris was appointed as a director of the club's board on November 3. As required by law and the club's constitution, Morris automatically retires at the annual general meeting and has offered himself for re-election.
