MELBOURNE will enter Sunday’s inaugural clash against Gold Coast Suns at the Gabba unchanged.

The Demons will play with the same line-up, which defeated Brisbane Lions by 11 points at the MCG last round.

On Thursday night, Melbourne included Addam Maric, Ricky Petterd and James Strauss in its 25-man squad.

But the trio has been named emergencies.

This means Nathan Jones, Jack Watts, Cale Morton and Stef Martin have been retained in the 22.

Maric was outstanding for Casey last round, kicking three goals and winning 25 disposals.

Petterd has played two matches this season and Strauss has been right of the cusp of selection, although he is yet to play.

The Dees enter with a 1-1-1 win-draw-loss record and have a bye following their clash against the Suns.
