Melbourne midfielder Brent Moloney - currently a game shy of his 100 game milestone - was handed a one match suspension by the AFL’s match review panel on Monday night.  This was given for making forceful contact from front-on offence against Tom Logan of Port Adelaide, during the fourth quarter of the Round Nine match in Darwin.

After review, the Demons have decided to contest the sanction. The AFL Tribunal will sit tonight at 5 pm to review Moloney’s penalty.

More details will follow after 5 pm.
