MELBOURNE has named 2010 All-Australian defender James Frawley in its starting 18 for Sunday’s clash against Hawthorn at the MCG.
Frawley injured his pectoral muscle in January and missed Melbourne’s NAB Cup/Challenge campaign.
This will be the 22-year-old’s first match of any sorts this year.
The Demons have also included ruckman Jake Spencer and tall backman Matthew Warnock into their 25-man squad.
The duo has been named on the seven-man bench, along with Neville Jetta, Joel Macdonald, Addam Maric, Stef Martin and Ricky Petterd.
A substitute player will be named 90 minutes before the 4.40pm twilight start.
No omissions have yet to be made, with the final team to be announced Friday night.
As expected, the Demons are still without key players Cale Morton, Tom Scully and Jordie McKenzie, who are sidelined through injury.
