Tapscott suffered a neck injury during last round’s loss against Carlton at the MCG.
Dasher Rohan Bail (knee) is also a chance to return after being sidelined for the past 12 matches.
Bail played the opening seven matches before he suffered the injury.
Versatile tall Michael Newton (foot) will miss another 1-2 weeks.
As expected, James Strauss will miss the rest of the season, after sustaining a nasty broken leg against the Blues last Saturday.
