BALL movement coach Mark Williams runs through the 22 players who played in Melbourne’s 90-point win over Gold Coast Suns at the Gabba on Sunday

Rohan Bail: Rohan did a very good job on Daniel Harris and when we let him off the leash, he provided plenty of run and carry with the ball. He kicked an impressive goal - albeit off his shin - but he continued to impress again. Rohan had 23 disposals for the second consecutive match.

Clint Bartram: Clint had an even game. He had 16 touches and his contested work was good. He managed to win some good one-on-ones and marks in the back 50. Clint also positioned himself well when the ball came into defensive 50.

Jamie Bennell: Jamie was fantastic on the wing. He provided great rebound and attack inside 50. He also spread well, which helped us move the ball out of our defensive 50. Jamie’s positioning on the wing was very good and he played his game well.

Aaron Davey: Flash was in-and-out of the game. He had a very good third quarter and kicked a couple of goals for the match, but we really need him to focus on his tackling at the moment. That’s an area he’s really made his own with his game over the years.

Lynden Dunn: Lynden played a really good role for the team. He controlled Nathan Bock for much of the match, but the real strength of Lynden’s game was that he was strong in his position.

James Frawley: It was only a fair game from Chip, after his long break from injury. He just didn’t play in front enough and wasn’t physical enough when the ball was in his area. He made a few basic errors. But he’ll get better with more game-time.

Colin Garland: Col also had just a fair game. He didn’t attack the ball like he normally does and second guessed himself at times. He wasn’t physical enough and didn’t play in front.

Brad Green: Greeny kept attacking the ball all day. He kept presenting and moving around the forward line strongly. But he didn’t reward himself - he finished with 2.4 - despite his hard work. He achieved a milestone by reaching his 300th career goal.

Jack Grimes: Grimesy was very solid across half-back. He capitalised on several turnovers and helped set us up with some scores. He finished with 27 touches.

Jordan Gysberts: Jordan gave his opponent a little bit of space at the stoppages, but it was tough conditions for young fellas. His inside work was still pretty good. We just need him to keep his body right and play his role. But it was only his fifth AFL game.

Mark Jamar: Rush was very good in the ruck again. He didn’t have as much of an influence in the air, as he has in the past, but his presenting up forward was good. But he continually gives us first use of the ball and one highlight of this was his tap over the back to Rohan Bail, who kicked a goal from a stoppage.

Nathan Jones: Nathan had a really good game. His positioning off the wing was fantastic and the way he ran and carried the ball was strong. It was another good display from Jonesy.

Liam Jurrah: Liam was lively up forward and kicked three goals, but he must continue to attack the ball and present. He also needs to keep working on his forward pressure.

Stef Martin: Stef was involved in a lot of play, which was pleasing. But he didn’t have a big influence on the game. Still, his ruck work was pretty good. He spent a bit of time down back, giving the defenders a chop out. There’s no doubt he’s playing his role at the moment though. And we’re very happy with that.

Brent Moloney: Beamer was very good. He was excellent around the stoppages and gave us first use. It was a fine effort on the back of a tough week.

Cale Morton: Cale was good on the wing. He was good away from the stoppages and in general play. His positioning was good and he continued to step-up in his second game back for the season. He also kicked three goals.

Jared Rivers: Jared played in front on occasions and a couple of times lacked some intensity. But once again, the conditions were tough for defenders, so it didn’t take much to be out of position or lose a contest. Overall, Jared was solid.
Colin Sylvia: Col provided us with some good spread and was involved in some important passages of play. He also had nine inside 50s and won some stoppages.

Luke Tapscott: Lukey’s attack on the ball was very good. He won several one-on-one contests at important times in the game. His kicking continues to be a highlight.

Jack Trengove: Jack had a career-best 29 touches. He found space and used the ball very well. He also kicked two goals and could’ve kicked a few more. Overall, it was good performance.

Jack Watts: When Jack came on for Liam Jurrah, as a substitute he quickly ran around and got involved. He was good with his physicality and did a few good things for the time he was on the ground.

Austin Wonaeamirri: Aussie was lively up forward. He won some really good ground balls and continued to work hard front and centre. His form is solid and improving.
