Melbourne defender Daniel Bell will miss the remainder of the 2009 season, after dislocating his left AC joint during last weekend’s game against Port Adelaide.  Bell had surgery today to relocate and stabilise his AC joint.  He will now enter into a rehabilitation phase, and it is expected that he will be ready to resume full training when Melbourne’s 2010 pre-season commences in October.

Forward Addam Maric will also set his sights on 2010, after undergoing left shoulder reconstruction surgery.  Addam recently injured his shoulder while playing for the Casey Scorpions.  The Club expects Addam to also make a full recovery, in time for the beginning of Melbourne’s 2010 pre-season campaign in October.
