Melbourne has made just one change for Sunday’s clash against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium, bringing back defender Joel Macdonald for youngster Jordan Gysberts.
DEFENDER Joel Macdonald has been recalled for Sunday’s clash against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium.
The Demons finalised their side on Friday evening, with the former Lion coming in at the expense of Jordan Gysberts, who was omitted on Thursday.
Gysberts managed 51 disposals from his first two matches, but collected just 10 touches against Collingwood on the Queen’s Birthday.
Macdonald joins Jordie McKenzie, Jack Watts and Lynden Dunn on the interchange.
The emergencies are Jamie Bennell, Kyle Cheney and Jake Spencer.
Again, the Demons will be without skipper James McDonald (hamstring) and midfielder/forward Colin Sylvia (toe).
Key defender Matthew Warnock will play his 50th AFL match this round - a fine achievement after persevering via the rookie list.
The Demons are aiming to win their second match on the road this year, having defeated Port Adelaide in Darwin in round nine.
Melbourne is also attempting to overturn a poor record at AAMI Stadium.
The Demons have lost their past 13 matches at the venue and have not won there since round two, 2001.
