THE MELBOURNE Football Club has confirmed the members of the coaching sub-committee that will select the Club’s next senior coach.
The coaching sub-committee was approved by the board on Monday evening and will consist of Garry Lyon, President Jim Stynes, Vice President’s Don McLardy and Guy Jalland and CEO Cameron Schwab. The panel will be chaired by Garry Lyon.
In addition, Club sponsor and well known recruitment company, Drake, will be providing key expertise at the panel’s request throughout the process.
The coaching sub-committee will oversee the process and will consider other issues in relation to the appointment of the Senior Coach, including structure, personnel and resourcing considerations.
A specific timeframe has not been established to make the appointment. Todd Viney will act as the interim Coach until an appointment has been made.
