The Queen’s Birthday is one of the biggest annual fixtures on the AFL calendar. The Annual Walk to the ‘G and a free pre-game concert at the MCG make the Queen’s Birthday clash against Collingwood a must-attend game for every Melbourne supporter.

Walk to the ‘G
The annual Queen’s Birthday Walk to the ‘G will commence at 10 am this Monday from Birrarung Marr, next to Federation Square. With entertainment for the entire family the Walk to the ‘G is a great way to warm up for one of the biggest games of the season. The walk is a free event, with past and present players in attendance.
Demons Rock the ‘G
The live concert from 1 pm will feature Russell Robertson, Jade MacRae, Ella and Jesse Hooper and My Friend the Chocolate Cake. The concert will conclude with all artists collaborating to perform a song together.
Ticketing
All 3, 5, 11 and 17-game members can gain entry to the ground with their membership card.

Legends, Trident and Redlegs members have access to the following dining and bar facilities:
- Hassett Room dining (Southern Stand, Level 2), where some players will be in attendance after the game.
- Cuthbert Bar food and bar facilities (Olympic Stand, Level 2)
- Ryder Room pie bar (Southern Stand, Level 2, next door to Hassett Room)
Memberships
Memberships will be on sale outside Gate 3 and inside Gate 2, and at Birrarung Marr before Walk to the ‘G. Membership scarves and Demon horns can also be collected from these points. New members who have not yet received their membership card can pick their ticket up from the membership tent at Gate 3.

The AFL Playground will be open from 11.45 am outside Gate 6 at the MCG. The AFL playground is full of free activities for kids including the Goal for Glory, Clubhouse, AFL Future Champions Photo Station and loads more! AFL Women’s Week
To celebrate AFL Women’s Week, 250 girls will take part in the Biggest Ever Girls’ Footy Clinic on the MCG before the game. Participants in the clinic will be sent details early in the week.
