AFTER a stellar launch in 2011, the Dare to Dream Gala Dinner is back on Wednesday 1 August at the MCG.

In what promises to be a night of fun, frivolity and fundraising, now is the time to secure your place at this exciting event.

Fast becoming the ladies event not to be missed on the MFC calendar, attendees will again enjoy amazing prizes, gift bags, and a scrumptious three course dinner.

Be inspired and entertained by the likes of MC Bev O’Connor, ABC TV presenter and Herald Sun columnist, Brigitte Duclos, radio personality and journalist and Ella Jesse Hooper, Killing Heidi, and MFC favourite, Russell Robertson, the Price is Right host for the evening.

MFC Board member, Women of Melbourne Chair and CEO of Guide Dogs Victoria, Karen Hayes, said it was not only a fantastic event, but also a unique chance to contribute to an important education program helping young women in the City of Casey.

“Over the past few years, the Melbourne Football Club has worked hard to establish a strong presence in the community and, in particular, supporting women and girls,” she said.

“Last year, we were extremely proud to launch the Dare to Dream program, helping young girls at risk of dropping out of school and, as a result, at greater risk of negative outcomes such as teen pregnancy and unemployment.”

The funds raised at the Dare to Dream Gala Dinner will ensure this important program continues to run, assisting these young girls during a critical period of their life.

“The success and support of this program has been overwhelming, and we are incredibly proud of the inroads we have made in this area,” Hayes said.
