Jack Watts has been rewarded for his VFL form with a call-up for Saturday’s home game against the West Coast Eagles at the MCG.

The promising key forward booted four goals for the Casey Scorpions last week and comes into the side at the expense of the omitted Lynden Dunn.

The No.1 pick from the 2008 National Draft played three games in 2009, and will be hoping to add another goal kicking avenue to the Demons’ forward line, which kicked 0.6 in the first quarter last weekend on the way to a four-point loss against the Bulldogs.

Dunn remains an emergency, along with ruckman Jake Spencer and Neville Jetta, both who have shown impressive form in the VFL.

All Melbourne fans are encouraged to come to the MCG on Saturday afternoon, the Demons’ last Saturday afternoon home game of the year.

The Demons have won eight of their past nine games against interstate teams at the MCG.
