VERSATILE Demon Cale Morton has been included in the final 22 for Sunday’s clash against Brisbane Lions at the MCG.
But impressive opening round substitute Ricky Petterd has been left out of the final team and has been named an emergency.
The Demons have also named Nathan Jones, Lynden Dunn and Jack Watts on the interchange.
Matthew Warnock and James Strauss are the other emergencies.
Morton has not played this year, after injuring his finger on the eve of the NAB Cup.
On Thursday, the Demons included forward Austin Wonaeamirri and midfielder Jordan Gysberts in their starting 18.
They came in for smalls Addam Maric and Neville Jetta, who will play for Casey on Saturday.
Wonaeamirri and Gysberts will play their first match for the year, after sparkling performances in the VFL last round.
Defender Colin Garland has been named in the 22, after hurting his knee last round against Hawthorn.
As already knonw, the Demons are still without key players Tom Scully (knee) and Jordie McKenzie (groin).
