VFL
Werribee 17.12 (114) d Casey 8.10 (58)
Dom Barry: Dom played his best senior game for the year collecting 22 disposals and kicking a clever goal. He continues to improve at this level in his offensive and defensive transition.
Tom Couch: Tom was relatively quiet in this game. He had just the 17 disposals and two tackles, which was well below his impact in the past month.
Troy Davis: Troy was very good in the first quarter, with seven disposals and five marks as a forward. Troy sustained a heavy knock and did not take any further part in the game after quarter-time.
Tom Gillies: Tom won more of the ball this week with 20 disposals. He defended well and was generally more involved in the game offensively.
Jesse Hogan: Jesse was negated for most of the day. Nine of his 14 disposals were in the last quarter. He still managed to kick three goals with limited opportunities.
Joel Macdonald: Joel played with speed and energy. He only had the 13 disposals however he was one player prepared to take the opposition on.
James Magner: Jimmy battled hard all day and amassed 25 possessions. He drove the ball inside 50 on six occasions. Most of his disposals were under a lot of pressure, as the opposition were very good in this area.
Jordie McKenzie: Jordie won enough of the ball on the wing and in the midfield. His 23 disposals and seven hardball gets was a solid return to footy after a number of weeks on the sidelines.
Cam Pedersen: Cam played as a forward and as second in the ruck. He had an influence all over the ground with 22 disposals and eight marks (four contested). He also laid some strong tackles.
David Rodan: David was playing very well until he sustained an injury in the second quarter and did not return to the field.
James Sellar: James received a heavy knock and did not return after half-time.
James Strauss: James played a reasonable game. He had 21 disposals and we saw more of his speed and willingness to take the game on.
Luke Tapscott: Luke was very quiet in the first half. He improved significantly after half-time and had three shots on goal in the third quarter for 1.2.
Josh Tynan: Josh has improved his skill execution and this was evident in his 18 disposals. Defensively he was below his efforts in previous games.
Jack Viney: Having missed a significant number of games due to injury, Jack had a quiet first half. His second half was better as he found more of the ball and worked himself into the game.

Maia Westrupp: Maia had not played for a few weeks as he had been back home in NZ. He started to work into the game and used the ball well.
