WINNERS of the Write Like a Demon competition - Chamodi Dissanyake (Hampton Primary School) - and Reviewer of the Year competition - Almog Cohen (Sholem Aleichem College) - were treated to a VIP match day experience on Sunday 18 August.

Both winners were given 20 complimentary tickets to bring friends and family to the MCG to see Melbourne take on Fremantle. Chamondi, Almog and friends participated in the pre-match clinic on the MCG, which was facilitated by players Neville Jetta and Josh Tynan.

The VIP match day experience also included being a part of the Guard of Honour. Before lining the MCG to cheer on the Melbourne team as they ran through the banner, all participants met Mitch Clark and received a VIP lanyard, which Mitch signed.

Chamondi’s winning story - ‘Night of the Clown’ - will be published in coming weeks, and will then be used as a resource for the 2014 Read Like a Demon program.
