JACK Viney will be named in Melbourne’s team on Thursday night, for Saturday night’s clash against the Western Bulldogs at the MCG, if the appeal process hasn’t been concluded.
Viney will front an appeals board on Thursday night, after he was suspended for two matches, due to rough conduct, on Tuesday night.
If he wins the appeal, he will obviously stay in the team, with no alterations needed to the side. But if Viney is unsuccessful, Melbourne will have until late morning on Friday to alter its 22.
The appeal will be heard from 5pm on Thursday.
