FORWARD line development coach Paul Satterley reviews the Melbourne-listed players from Casey’s win over Port Melbourne at Casey Fields on Sunday

Lucas Cook - 9 disposals, 7 kicks, 2 handballs, 7 marks, 1 tackle
Lucas did most of his work up the ground. He was a useful lead-up player and linked-up with the midfielders very effectively. He is working very hard to improve his contested aerial skills, which will compliment his game. He was a solid contributor.

Tom Couch - 25 disposals, 15 kicks, 10 handballs, 6 marks, 4 goals, 1 tackle
Tom was the most influential midfielder on the ground. His work rate has increased in recent weeks and he is getting reward for effort. He continues to be very diligent off the field in getting the best out of himself.

Aaron Davey - 22 disposals, 13 kicks, 9 handballs, 3 marks, 1 goal, 5 tackles
A real workmanlike performance from Flash, he played in the midfield and his elite use of the ball certainly stood out. His willingness to work really hard for the contested ball was a real positive.

Troy Davis - 10 disposals, 6 kicks, 4 handballs, 5 marks
Had his hands full with Dean Galea (seven goals), but coach Brett Lovett stuck with Troy in this role and he certainly battled hard all day. It was a tough day at the office.

Jack Fitzpatrick - 16 disposals, 8 kicks, 8 handballs, 4 marks, 1 tackle, 31 hit outs, 1 goal
Jack made a real impact in the ruck and his follow up after the contest was as good as we have seen from him. He let himself down with his finishing for goal, but otherwise his game was very good.

Brad Green - 21 disposals, 18 kicks, 3 handballs, 9 marks, 3 tackles, 6 goals
After a rusty start to the game, Greeny was rewarded with his first goal by putting his body on the line. His 6 goals were instrumental in Casey winning the game. It was an excellent contribution from him.

Jordan Gysberts - 24 disposals, 9 kicks, 15 handballs, 2 marks, 4 tackles
Jordan was very good around the stoppages and much of his work was in congestion. We are working with him to get some run and spread, so he can win some easier ball to compliment his hard ball gets.

Neville Jetta - 14 disposals, 10 kicks, 4 handballs, 7 marks, 1 goal
Nev certainly improved on his previous game. He provided some real spark and energy when he was on the ground. He now has two games under his belt and is working hard off the field to keep building his fitness.

Cale Morton - 15 disposals, 8 kicks, 7 handballs, 5 marks, 1 tackle
Cale was given a run-with role in the first half and was extremely effective in negating his opponent. In the second half, Cale was released to provide some run and he was very good playing on a wing.

Ricky Petterd - 19 disposals, 14 kicks,5 handballs, 5 marks, 4 tackles
Ricky attacked the ball in his typical style. He let himself down with a couple of costly frees, however he again stood up when the game was in the balance and made a good contribution.

James Strauss - 11 disposals, 10 kicks, 1 handball, 3 marks, 2 tackles
James was not as effective in this game as he was previously. We obviously want more of the ball in his hands, as he is an excellent user. We have full confidence that James will improve this week.

Leigh Williams - 8 disposals, 8 kicks, 5 marks, 1 goal
Offensively, Leigh is working to get to more contests as he is real competitor with good hands. Defensively, he was terrific with two of his smothers resulting in goals. He also kicked one.
