VERSATILE tall Lynden Dunn has accepted a one-match suspension from the match review panel and will miss Saturday’s clash against Fremantle at Etihad Stadium.

Defender James Frawley has also accepted his reprimand, but will be available to play against Freo.

Dunn was charged with a level one striking offence against Richmond’s Luke McGuane, during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s clash at the MCG.

But due to his record, Dunn’s one-match suspension had to remain.

Frawley was charged with a level two striking offence against Tiger Robin Nahas. But due to his five-year good record, he was able to take the reprimand.

Football manager Josh Mahoney said the Demons accepted the match review panel’s decisions.

“After considering all the evidence and the findings of the match review panel, we have decided to accept the prescribed penalties,” he said.

“Unfortunately, Lynden’s undisciplined act has cost him a one game suspension.

“This is disappointing as he has been showing some good signs after being switched into defence over the past three weeks.”

Here are the match review panel details for both charges:

Lynden Dunn, Melbourne, has been charged with a Level One striking offence against Luke McGuane, Richmond, during the fourth quarter of the Round 15 match between Melbourne and Richmond, played at the MCG on Saturday July 7, 2012.
