THE ENTIRE Melbourne squad took more than 100 Auskick participants through their paces during a one hour Superclinic in chilly conditions at Casey Fields on Tuesday night.

With the assistance of local SEDA AFL students, the Demons ran through drills and skills with the Auskick kids.

Participants took part in several activities with their favourite Demons, which included warm ups, one-on-one handballing, and goalkicking drills.

The Auskick kids were also given the opportunity to take ‘speccies’ over the Melbourne players.

At the end of the clinic, the Auskickers stuck around as Colin Sylvia interviewed 2009 NAB AFL No.1 draft pick, Tom Scully.

The young midfielder spoke about his first year in the AFL, his career aspirations and how he is enjoying life at the Demons.

The Auskick kids were also treated to a quiz competition, hosted by captain James McDonald.

Each Demon asked participants a question, with those who gave correct answers receiving a signed sticker sheet.

The session was topped off with autograph signings, and the players posing for plenty of photos.

Aaron Davey was popular, with a swarm of children lining up for an autograph from ‘Flash’.

The Superclinic provided another opportunity for local residents to get up close and personal with the Club, which has committed long term to having a presence in the City of Casey.

The Demons are also assisting to develop the area of grassroots junior football.
