THERE could be a flurry of activity ahead of Thursday afternoon's NAB AFL Trade Period deadline, with a few players and their managers likely to be frenetic up until 2pm.
While deals have been finally done for the likes of Jake Carlisle and Adam Treloar, all eyes will be on whether Chris Yarran and James Aish, among others, can find new homes.

Will Yarran get to Punt Road?
Carlton's Chris Yarran has made his desire to become a Richmond player no secret, but if he does get to the Tigers, it's going to be a nail-biter.
The Blues want Richmond's first-round pick 12 for the West Australian, but Richmond isn't keen to give that up, which could leave Yarran stuck.
But, it's believed Hawthorn might be able to help.
The Age is reporting that the Hawks are considering offering Richmond picks 15 and 18 in exchange for picks 12 and 19, meaning that the Tigers could then offload either one to the Blues.
As reported by AFL.com.au on Wednesday, the Tigers might be exploring a range of complicated pick swapping scenarios.
The Tigers have picks including No.12, 19, 52, while Carlton's conceivably relevant selections include No.20, 21, 59 and 60.
Aish move to the Pies holding up Roos and Bastinac
The Brisbane Lions and Collingwood remain in discussions about swap silky midfielder James Aish, but the deal would be also starting to make North Melbourne and Ryan Bastinac sweat.
The Herald Sun is reporting the Lions have told the Kangaroos they're not willing to settle on any trade for Bastinac until the deal with Aish is finalised, leaving the Roos' runner in limbo.
To confuse things even more, North also says it is still interested in grabbing Aish, who has declared Collingwood his preferred destination.
As reported on AFL.com.au on Wednesday, it's expected the Bastinac to the Lions deal will get done early on Thursday, with the midfielder and picks 38 and 40 heading to the Gabba in exchange for pick No.17.
Lobbe rejects offer to make the kennel his new home
The Western Bulldogs made a late bid to lure Port Adelaide ruckman Matthew Lobbe to the club for 2016, but it's believed the Power big man has declined their advances.
Port has told the footy world that its vice-captain isn't on the trade table, but a significant offer from the Doggies has at least made them think about it.
According to The Advertiser, the Dogs put a deal to the Power that included pick 11 in this year's draft, which was enough to get the club to contact Lobbe – who is on holiday in Vietnam - to gauge his interest.
The ruckman is contracted until the end of 2019 and is believed to have told Port officials that he wants to stay in South Australia.
