DEFENDER Neville Jetta says he is back on track after missing a month earlier in the season, due to concussion.
The tenacious Demon, who was sidelined from rounds five to eight, said it was a difficult period to endure.
“It was tough. I felt OK during that period, but the neurosurgeon told me to have a few weeks off to really clear my head of any symptoms,” he told Dee TV.
“I had the few weeks off and it took me a few weeks to get back to the way I play my footy and my match fitness.
“But I’m feeling good now and I’ve had a few big knocks since and had no post symptoms from the knock.
“I’m feeling good and confident within my footy and in my head.”
Jetta said he hadn’t altered his approach to the game, since returning from injury.
“I haven’t changed anything. I’ll just keep playing the way I am,” he said.
“I’ll try and avoid them when I can.”
Jetta said he pulled up a bit sore, due to his usual physical game against West Coast in the Territory last week, but added that he would be right for the clash against the Bombers.
“We’re more focused on ourselves and how we play and our brand of footy and not really worrying too much about the Bombers,” he said.
“You see what St Kilda did to them and we’ll definitely try to do the same, but we’ll definitely focus on the brand of footy that we play.
“I’m still trying to focus on my personal game, while as a team working on stuff.
“We need to improve and create habits as a team to become consistent and that’s probably the main focus personally and as a team.”
