ANGUS Brayshaw has been taken under the wing of Melbourne captain Nathan Jones in his first AFL season.
The three-time club best and fairest winner revealed at a media conference at the MCG on Wednesday that he and Brayshaw have created their own goalkicking competition, with the skipper apparently in the lead.
“I’m schooling him in our [goal] kicking competition,” Jones said.
Brayshaw was quick to fire back at his skipper.
“Well he’s my captain so I’ve got to let him win some of those,” he said with a smile.
The two will be playing in the annual Queen’s Birthday clash at the MCG this Monday against Collingwood.
