MELBOURNE has made one change to its team ahead of Sunday’s game against North Melbourne.
Aaron vandenBerg (ankle), withdrew from the team on Friday, with Matt Jones his replacement in the side.
Jones, who played his most recent game against the West Coast Eagles in round 14, has performed strongly for VFL affiliate Casey Scorpions.
On Friday, first year player Billy Stretch was added to the squad of 25.
Stretch joins midfielder Ben Newton and veteran Mark Jamar on the emergencies list.
Melbourne is looking for its first win against North Melbourne since round 20, 2006.
The game, which falls in the AFL’s multicultural round, is also midfielder Dom Tyson’s 50th AFL match.
