“We’re really looking forward to this contest for our group. We look at our next two games as great opportunities for our players to compete against teams we feel are going to be around the backend of the year, particularly Sandringham. Their injury list, with the alignment with St Kilda, is really good. We see this as an opportunity to play one of our better teams possible up against one of their better teams. We’re pretty relentless about getting our players to play a brand of football that we thinks work. The players and the club are getting some pretty good rewards out of the senior team winning. Players have to perform to earn spots at AFL level. There is a fair bit of accountability at the moment, which is really healthy.” – Justin Plapp
