Midfielder Viv Michie continued his fine season for Casey, notching up 35 disposals.
Youngster Billy Stretch, who has played one match for Melbourne this season, had 34 touches.
Clayton Oliver, playing his first game for Casey, after featuring in the opening four matches of the season with Melbourne in his debut year, had 29 possessions.
Former Melbourne co-captain Jack Trengove continued his strong comeback from a serious foot injury, with 27 disposals.
Rookie Mitch White and utility Alex Neal-Bullen had 24 touches each and another former Melbourne co-captain Jack Grimes had 23 disposals.
Ben Newton, in his third game back after an ankle injury interrupted his pre-season, booted two goals.
