AS PART of Melbourne’s community work, the playing group visited junior football clubs in the heartland region and the City of Casey on Wednesday 18 May.
Having trained at Casey Fields in the morning, the majority of the players were divided across 17 clubs in the City of Casey.
These clubs were: Beaconsfield JFC, Berwick Springs JFC, Cobras JFC, Cranbourne JFC, Endeavour Hills Nth JFC, Hampton Park JFC, Koo Wee Rup JFC, Lyndhurst FNC, Nar Nar Goon FC, Narre Warren North Foxes JFC, Narre Warren South Lions JFC, Noble Park JFC, North Dandenong JFC, Officer JFC, Pakenham JFC, Parkmore JFC and Tooradin JFC.
The players ran training sessions and Q&As with the junior footballers.
Meanwhile, other players attended Youth Girls training sessions in the heartland, as part of the club’s support for women and girls who play football.
Players ran sessions at Prahran JFC, East Brighton Vampires and Bentleigh JFC.
Ruckman Jake Spencer attended the jumper presentation for the South Metro Junior Football League interleague side.
