CHISHOLM Institute and Melbourne Football Club have joined forces with Chisholm announced as Melbourne Football Club’s preferred education and training provider.
The partnership will see Chisholm present across three different levels of the club including, Melbourne’s Next Generation Academy, Casey Demons VFL team and will have signage in the club’s AFL Coaches’ Box.
Chisholm Institute’s Acting CEO, Grant Radford said “this exciting new partnership will enable students to chase their calling by seamlessly integrating athletics and education.”
The flagship of this partnership is the Chisholm Sports Academy Melbourne Football Club Program which will be delivered from Chisholm’s Cranbourne campus and Melbourne Football Club’s Casey campus located at Casey Fields.

Melbourne Football Club General Manager of Football Operations, Josh Mahoney is excited to partner with Chisholm and to support this development program.
“The program presents an exciting way for up-and-coming athletes to undertake a program that access skills-based training as well as strength and conditioning under the guidance of Melbourne Football Club coaches and support staff,” he said.
Educationally, athletes will also benefit from learning from Chisholm’s industry-engaged teachers and in the span of 11 months, work towards completing a Dual Diploma of Sport Development and Diploma of Sport and Recreation Management.
Melbourne Football Club’s Chief Commercial Officer, George de Crespigny, believes the partnership with Chisholm is another example of how the club is looking to further integrate with the club’s pathway programs.
“We are excited to welcome Chisholm on-board as a Melbourne Football Club partner and to have them align with different levels including our Next Generation Academy, VFL team along with Coaches’ Box branding for our AFL team.
