AS FINALS fever sweeps through the city, Melbourne supporters are encouraged to arrive early to live screenings of tomorrow’s Preliminary Final.
11 Victorian Sporting Globe venues, Federation Square plus Bunjil Place in the City of Casey are all hosting live screening events for red and blue faithful who could not make the trip to Perth.
For supporters attending live screenings, the message is to arrive well ahead of the 2.30PM broadcast time.
Federation Square, which is expected to reach capacity early in the day is already making preparations for the influx of Melbourne fans.
“It will be a wonderful day here on Saturday and we look forward to switching on the footy and showing off Melbourne’s new big screen to all of our footy fans,” Federation Square CEO Johnathan Tribe said.
For all attending Federation Square, picnic rugs and chairs are welcome while food and beverages are available onsite. Weekend parking rates apply and patrons are reminded that Federation Square is an alcohol-free space.
