“We’re like the senior team – our destiny is in our own performances. We’re in the eight, but there are a few teams that we’ll play in the next few weeks that can have a significant outcome in where we finish. The last time we played the Northern Blues, they gave us a fair dinkum hiding around being able to control the ball and we weren’t able to stop them defensively. It was probably one of the poorer performances we’ve had in the three years I’ve been at the club. We’ve got a clear indication of the way they play their football and if we bring our best, we knowthat’s going to be really competitive against them. We just need to keep winning games of footy. If we get the same buy-in from our players, around intensity and effort – and some genuine spirit among our players – I think as a collective, we’ll be hard to beat.” – Justin Plapp
